Four State Highways convene into the historic downtown square of the City of Monticello. State routes #11, #83, #212 and #16...

From Atlanta:

I-75 South: Take Highway 16 exit - Monticello/Jackson. Travel east to Monticello.

I-20 East: Take Highway 11 exit - Monticello/Social Circle. Travel south to Monticello on the Monticello Crossroads Scenic Byways (begins at county line).

From Augusta:

I-20 West: Take Highway 83 exit and travel south. This is the Madison/Monticello exit and travel to Monticello on the Monticello Crossroads Scenic Byways (begins at county line).

From Conyers:

Highway 20 East to 212. Highway 212 East to Monticello.

From Macon:

I-75 North: Take the Monticello/Forsyth exit - Highway 83. Take Highway 83 North to Monticello.

Also from Macon you can take Riverside exit -Highway 87 and go Northeast 17 miles and turn right onto Highway 83 North for 17 miles.

Also from Macon you can take Highway 11 North from Gray

From Milledgeville:

Highway 212 or 16 West to Monticello.
